School Bus Management
Managing a school bus fleet is not as easy as that of a public bus. More emphasis on safely must be enforced to ensure that the school children is able to reach school and home in the safest and most comfortable way.
How Galooli helps you run your fleet of school bus?
Driver Behaviour assessment
Galooli’s driver’s behaviour module has a 3-axis built-in accelerometer with 0.0001g sensitivity for extremely accurate measurement of vehicle road behaviour. This way we can monitor school bus drivers’ behaviour, pattern and expertise in vehicle handling.
The safety of children and the bus relies in the hands of the driver and only the best and safest driver should be in control of the wheel. With a unique algorithm, ZonControl is able to rate and give individual drivers a grade. ZonControl is also able to pinpoint the cause for unsafe drivers.
With this assessment, fleet managers can identify and select the most suitable driver to be assigned to a school bus.
Ensure that only authorised personnel are driving the bus. With the Dallas key, fleet manager is able to recognise the drivers accessing the school bus. Bus drivers will be logged into the system which can provide an audit trail and to get intrusion alerts.
Breathalyzer can also be added as a requirement for ignition of bus engine.
Geofence and routes can be created to provide parents and teachers with notification to know that students have reached safely in school. The school can be notified if any buses go out of the usual route.
Real Time Event Triggered Video
DVR recorders allow a live view of the bus to be viewed in real time. A unique feature is the functionality of our panic button. When pressed, live steam of the video camera is pushed in real time to ZonControl. This allows for quick identification of the problem.
Mobileye can be integrated into ZonControl allowing the command & control center to receive similar warnings as the bus driver.
A state-of-the-art ability that is not available in any energy management system in the market, Galooli’s ZonControl boasts the ability of being able to add 4 individual events and use the “and/or” logic to create 1 unique MultiZON event. This allows the administrator to receive unique alarms unachievable in any other operation management programs.
An example will be to detect dangerous driving in the school compound. The first event is to set speed to be above 50kph. The second event is to set an event from 0800hours to 1700hours on weekdays only. When the bus speeds during a schooling day, the school will be able to learn about it.
Another example of MultiZon alert will be speeding in school zones. The first event is set as the school bus entering the school compound (with geolocation). The second event is to set speed to be above 50kph. When these 2 events are satisfied, the school can be alerted about it
