An Italian construction industry since 2010 has been building their name with extensive experience in construction of civil engineering projects in the transport, water infrastructure and non-residential construction sectors. With vehicles in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Romania and Ukraine, managing a large fleet requires a comprehensive system providing relevant reports.
Fuel drops averted
Construction vehicles have large fuel tanks and because these tanks are easily accessible in vehicle parks, fuel theft is common. With Galooli’s fuel theft algorithm, fuel drops are easily detected. Alerts are sent to the individual regional fleet manager as an email, SMS and a pop-up screen in the control center. With these alerts, the appropriate fleet manager is able to be warned of such situation and checks can be made on the ground. With this function, the company has been able to save millions of dollars by reducing and deterring fuel theft.
Fuel status – Daily scheduled summary report
Every day at 20:00hours, Zon™ Control executes automatically and a daily summary report of all assets on-site is produced. This report was customized by the operation manager and includes some of the following parameters: Current fuel status, total fuel spent, indication on refuels to be done for the next job status, total engine hours spent and any important notifications regarding routine maintenance that requires maintenance.
Precise location of vehicles
GPS embedded in Triton K2 allows accurate tracking of construction vehicles and history of routes to be traced by fleet manager. In a situation where re-allocation of resources is needed, fleet managers are able to select the most appropriate vehicle type and send it to the required location.
Geolocations and Geo-routes limitations
Setting of geolocation allows fleet managers to receive alerts whenever a vehicle enters and leave a specific area. With these geolocation markers set, maximum speed limits can be placed on individual machineries. When these speed limits are violated in specific areas, the construction fleet managers can warn respective drivers of their fault, increasing safety standards for both the operators and the vehicles.
Employing Galooli’s solution has enabled the construction managers to be more attentive and aware of their machine operators. This has improved the company’s safety standards and efficiency in carry out their task helping them to save money on fuel drops and increasing safety while being able to take on more projects through effective management.
